The Task Force for Global Health’s International Trachoma Initiative manages Pfizer’s donation of antibiotic for MDA, which is part of a comprehensive public health strategy called SAFE to eliminate trachoma. During the weeks of Oct. 17-28, 2016, an estimated 500,000 people in more than 100 communities took part in MDA in Malawi.
